| In 1990, two students at Cal State Fullerton dreamt of creating the first ever Portuguese language television program in Southern California. These two men, José Sive and David Martins, along with help from other members of the local Portuguese community, made that dream a reality on October 19, 1990 when they broadcast the first Portuguese language program in Southern California on KSCI, Channel 18 in Los Angeles. |
